Dark Avatar

Only in Gold bundle?

I recently purchased the collectors edition of GalCiv II. Now I went to various sites and looked for the Dark Avatar expansion, but it only seems to be available in the 'Gold' bundle.

45 Euros for Dark Avatar is a bit much, especially since I already OWN the original GalCiv II. Is there any shop that still sells the expansion by itself?

It should be fine, though it'll be in English.

That would be ok, the English texts are available anyway. (For some reason, you can't switch languages, but you can copy the files )

The only drawback is that Metaverse games will have mixed language texts, but I can live with that. Thanks for the help!

BTW, registering to get access to SDC is really worth it for DA. The latest beta includes some clever recoding (I believe Carielf also did the head slap thing - grin) that greatly improves performance of the entire game.

Just had my first look at Dark Avatar.

Kudos to Stardock, full 6 mbit/s on the download, entering the payment info took longer than installing the expansion.
