See I have internet connectivity problems with my gaming rig, so can I purchase and download the game to one comp and then install the game in another comp?

You absolutely can do this but it does depend on the nature of your connectivity issue.

If you have no internet access at all there's one set of ways to do it and if you just have slow internet there's a somewhat easier way to do it.

The bad news is that I'm not totally sure about the process and I don't want to mislead you. Kryo would certainly give you the best way to do this but I think he may be off for a couple of days. You can always email support@stardock.com for help.

There's also a few folks around that should be experts on this by now, Evil Stormbringer comes to mind, perhaps they'll respond with an answer. If all this fails then you could search through the forums for keywords such as Internet and Install. This topic has been discussed quite a bit in the recent past. I'm sure you could find a post that corresponds to your situation.

If you do respond to this thread it would help to mention which issue you have, no internet or slow internet, because the solution will be different in each case. Sorry I can't give you a better answer.

Thanks for the mention there Mumblefratz but as we all know, I am the last person to give 'helpful' advice about this game.
Since I am not the best 'teacher' I will provide this link for the post I made with regards to this dilemma. Kryo did a very good job of explaining how to go about this in that thread.
Okay, so since my link didn't work I guess you'll have to search for it yourself, sorry.
The post was "A Kry out to Kryo". There. Hope that helps.

The link is A 'Kry' out to Kryo.

It won't match in the search unless you have the 'Kry' singled quoted as in the title although "out to Kryo" (without the quotes) did match.

Here's another couple of threads that may help.

Activation sans Internet

1 copy, 2 different computers? (no internet on laptop)

Thanks Mumblefratz. I couldn't get the link to work... must be having one of 'those' days.
