I'm 26, but sitting here waiting for the download to complete makes me feel like an 8-year old waiting for Santa to show up with the goodies... :p

Wow, I've never been on the low end of forum age before.

21

Just bought the game and am downloading now. I was convinced to buy it by "Frogboy"'s attitude and actions. I read the example play that he put up on newsgroups, I read his essays in the Encyclopedia, and realized I agree with the stuff he said about strategy games, and I was just blown away to have seen a real open beta for once. Too bad I couldn't get in on it. ;) Anyway, all I'm trying to say is that this seemed like a really cool game, made by really cool people.

29-year old here.

Actually, I'm supposed to turn 30 later this year, but I've decided not to.

Dear Elrikk,

I understand. In 1967 (that's right, in 6th grade at age 12) I attended my first political rally, up on Capitol Hill. Me and my brother got put in "the Pen"...

My Mom nearly passed out when she found out where I'd been, playing hookey. My Dad had a cow when I showed them my SDS card, signed that day by Abbie himself.

Abbie is now a politician in California.

I now wear suits every day to work. I wouldn't be caught dead in anything less than a Hickey-Freeman from Sak's 5th Ave.

And the amazing thing is, I don't even have to work. I made enough in the stock market to basically live off the interest. I can work when I want to...yet I still go in.

Congrats on your road to recovery. I take solace in the fact that at least Jack Radey's still keepin' it real :)

49, and my first wargame was "Tactics II" in 1963. I was supposed to be a little too young for it, but little did my parents know that I would be playing games for the next fourty years. Wish I had that old copy (:(

Average age 25 (Sum of 0 to 50 years divided by 51). Real age 50, but I'm mentally stuck at somewhere around 25 - physically, that's another story. LOL

44. Started playing AH games, I loved 3R and Caesar of Alisia, and yes I still have a copy of the four volume D&D set. Also, I have a copy of The longest Day still unopened, just waiting for a six month stretch with nothing to do.
