If you have Paint on your computer (you should) all you gotta do is press the Print Screen key - call up Paint - go to edit and click paste. Save the image as a bmp or jpeg and your done.

I have to put in another vote for FastStone.  I often use it in my articles and tutorials and it's very easy to use and does a great job.

I use Snag It. It works great and does video capture and video tutorials as well.

Just to add another option. This from Donation Coder is free, there's just an unusual registration process.

It's what you might call - full featured.

Check out the link WWW Link

Rumshot gives you a preview as well as a full screen view. Preview has several frames you can use for it. FastStone I haven't used yet and Snagit I've heard of...I'm going to check that one out.WWW Link...is this how you do it?

Ooops...damn joorjam. Checked out Snagit and it's a bit much right now(no bucks). Downloading ScreenPrint32 now. If it does all they claim it'll be worth it.

I haven't seen that before but faststone had a color picker who can pick all colors on screen or not.
In all i have tried before when you put the picker in dxtheme on an object (for exemple black and your wallpaper is white) he pick up the color of wall and not object's color.
And faststone not he take all colors objects gadgets windows videos argh it's too awesome!
Thanks Uvah and you tried to find a color picker? lol
