mutiply copies of game

Hi,
I just purchased GC2. I am use to playing the Total War series and having multiple copies of the game. Is it possible with GC2? I would like to have the original and a Star Trek verision.

If you want to use mods, you can simply use the mod folder functionality added in patch 1.2 (it is not in the 1.0 retail version, but update to the latest patch and you'll be fine). That way you can swap out entire sets of mods with an option in-game without having to have multiple installations of the game.

Kyro,
I guess I will give it a try and see what happens. I have read the modding guide and I have The mods folder section in front of me now. Let me add that I am happy with the game. I like the different victory conditions. That does spice the game up. I do miss the tactical side of a game like this. Thats Ok because I understand it is grand strategy on a galatic scale. If I want a tactical game I will play the Total War series I have and Axies and Allies.
I do have one issue with the game and I am running 1.4 version. When I start a new game my previous hull builds keep showing up with the upgrades. This a bug?

In the future I hope to buy Dark Avatar Gold. Right now the price is a lttle steep for me right now. I thank you for your quick reply.

Your ship designs are normally preserved from game to game since many players spend a lot of time making them. If you do not like this behavior, simply turn off the 'save ship designs to hard disk' option in the menu.

You can also manually delete any designs you no longer want from the My Documents\My Games\GalCiv2\Ships folder.
