I want my Drengin back

Starting stats ability points and political party

Hello,

I played a few games of DL as the custom race then the Drengin. I did mess with the races starting stats to get the feel of it. Now I would like to switch to other races, but I noticed that the Drengin have the stats I gave them, not the original. Unfortunately I didn't write down the Drengin original settings. Is there a button to reset the Drengins or is somebody helpfull and posts the Drengins starting stats, please?

go to your my documents/my games/galciv2 folder.

delete:

Drengin Empire.raceconfig

there's a reset button near the bottom of the screen. if you're worried that the AI is using your configuration, it doesn't.

actually I think the AI does use your configuration. When you give a race the plus speed bonus, and then have them as an AI opponent, you can see their flagship and colony ship starts with the speed bonus (4 or 5 speed as opposed to 3 for the flagship). I always reset bonuses for everybody now before starting!

The AI does not use any customizations you've made to their race in-game in DL (you have to modify RaceConfig.xml directly to change what they get). It may pick abilities on its own, though.

In DA you can completely customize the races in-game, and play against these customized races any time.
