Get Your Wallpapers In Soon! Time Is Running Out!

On Monday, we begin user voting on Most Usable Wallpaper, with Most Original Wallpaper starting a few days later.  What this means is that the effective cut-offs for getting your walls in for each event is coming up very soon. 

We will be posting a user voting page on Monday that will be populated by all wallpapers submitted and approved so far.  If you submit and are accepted after the list is posted, you will be automatically added.  However, your chances of getting votes dramatically decreases the longer past the start of voting they're submitted.

In the interest of time, I'm working through the queue as fast as I can.  To ensure I am able to give everyone who has already submitted enough time to correct issues with their submissions, I will only be sending emails explaining the rejection to those who have technical issues to correct with their submission.  My goal is to work through the queue before the weekend, so everyone has two days to get their fixes and updates in.

Ok,but I still have no idea why mine was rejected a second time.Its never been uploaded before and dosnt use any graphics from previous work.Please tell me what I need to fix.(the ss was the only thing that had stuff from my widget work already at winc and I removed those and changed the ss and name in case it would be automatically rejected because of the name)

waaaah,I'm gonna miss the deadline.

Why was my "Impulse" wall rejected.
Everything is original, that I made.

I've read the guideline and see no conflict.
In all the years I've been skinning, I've never had anything re-jected. This is a first for me.

I think I understand where the confusion lies so I sent you a reply.If it still dosnt need to be in the competition I'll understand and find something else to complain about.

Ok i couldnt get my Desked wallpaper submitted, and i dont know why? Everything is original and made by me, the photos in the wall are taken by me and the blueprints are made 100% by me. Even tho maybe not in photoshop i still made em???

Due to the extremely high volume of wallpapers submitted this year, we have had to be extremely critical of what we let through the moderation queue.  As a result, many wallpapers were not passed on to the competition lists.  This is not necessarily a mark against a particular submission so much as it is a comment on how hard it has been to pick and choose what gets through.  If we had let every single wallpaper through, there would have been over 300 to judge, and that is an impractically large number.

Thats maaan hahaha i dont know what to say.

Well extra fun since both my completely diffrent wallpapers where not accepted. The first one okay, but common you make a few lines in photoshop with diffrent shades of a colour and it gets up there and myn dont, takes 5mins tops? Ohh well what can i say..

And i know that a wallpaper can be great even if it is very simplistic, but my first one was just that and it didnt pass through either so.

Is it really not good enough? yeesh
