That tricky screenshot question

Ok i know how to get screenshots and am using that excellent programme 'Hoversnap'. Question is how do i then get the screenshot on to my posts?

Someone else has mentioned getting a web host but I dont have a clue how to do that...could some kindly gent talk me through that process so that i post some juicy screenshots in support of my story

1) Go to http://imageshack.us

2) Upload your image.

3) Select the URL in the last box (direct link to image), copy it.

4) In a post here, click the image button and paste the URL into the appropriate field.

Imageshack doesn't require an account, so it's the better choice if you just need to toss an image up ASAP.

Well thats kool and all, but why is it that requiring an account is so bad??
I have to make an account on ALL forums I go so I can post, and GalCiv forums are no exception, so a simple 3 minutes of your life isnt that long, go ahead and use it, if just to make me feel usefull around here

Photobucket also limits the size of images you can upload, etc, unless you're a paying user.

That imageshack does the same thing, just in a different way. It has an annoying thing that pisses me off that makes the picture look very small, and you have to click the picture to take you to an add, and then you have to click "BACK" on the browser to see the full picture. Ughhhh

Use the 'direct link to image' URL. I've never had any problems with ads on imageshack (but then again I use AdBlock).
