Fools and Myspace

ive been having some problems with the latest 1.3 beta, in particular..when starting a new game it defaults the humans to 'fool' when i pick another race. im assuming its just a bug due to the early version, but wanted to know if anyone else got it too? also, can i delete this version..aside from doing a system restore to before i installed it? btw, unless i missed it somewhere on here..when's the fully functioning version supposed to be done and out?

side note; for those of you on myspace, i created a galciv group..its nothing much now on account of it being brand new, but i found it strange that there wasnt one already and i figured we could all use another forum seperate for the myspace crowd to meet/post other players. give it a look if youre so inclined to do so..

If you want to revert to 1.2, toggle off the 'show pre-release versions' option in SDC, uninstall GC2, and reinstall. Or if you backed it up (automatically or manually) you can just use SDC's restore from archive option.

1.3 final will be out when the devs are satisfied with it. There will be at least one or two more beta builds of the patch before then, so probably another month at least.

We need another Beta to get testing with. Missing icons, Next turn buttom appears and reappears. This Beta is near un testable because you really can't get through a game without it locking up somewhere.

I have mine setup to save every two turns I reload after a crash or drop to desktop. But stability wise, like I said this current Beta is near un testable.
