I-League and Fundamentalists and Pirates

Did you ever see them ?

I already managed to fight the fundamentalists one time. They had only 3 planets and got kicked in 10-15 turns.

I have never seen the I-League events and there is only one post on this forum talking about it.

Anyone saw it recently, is that still an available event ?

My other question would be about the Pirates, So everyone seem to be at war with pirates all the times.

In 6 full games on normal, challenging and thought I never seen any pirates ships.

I had the events 1 time but never seen them. All people still at war with them ???

So, I want to see more pirates and I want events of fundamentalists and/or I-League to be more frequent.

Keep doing good job stardock.

well yea, pirates are usually enemies of everybody because they are criminals and plus aren't affiliated with a specific race.

I haven't heard much about the I-League and the Fundamentalists or what conditions are needed for them to appear.

I really hate the fundamentalists, this event appears sometimes when you align with evil. Last time they took only two of my planets, unfortunately one of them was my economic capital and at this time I was a bit short at all. Needless to say that I was completely doomed, because I had no transports in reserve to get my planet back.

The Pirate event also happened a few times in my games, but late game and so there was no problem to wipe them out.

Pirates are aroused by alot of trading via frighters that you are doing. I've had the I-league once, I was playing as an evil civ and let my homeworld get a little to populated, so it broke off. Never had the fundamentalists though.

I haven't seen the pirates in my first few games, and there is always a massive amount of trading happening in my games, so that might not be the key to them appearing. Personally I would prefer the Fundamentalists to either appear less or appear with less power. The one game I have seen them, they gained the Korx homeworld, which effectively eliminated the one successful evil race from that game. That was quite disappointing.

don't forget that when you vote on the prision housing votes, you can have a riot and have some pirates get loose

yep if you get the prison you will eventually have an escape. Everytime I've won the prison votes I get the priate escape and have to go and hunt them. There should be a special section for the prison planet that would let you choose the planet it is on and special funding slider for security etc. This way if your at war with 1 or more civs you have to choose either to keep the prisoners working or lower the funds which gives them a chance to escape just so you can increase your research techs or build new ships and stuff. Now if your already rich this wont be an issue but if your struggling it can be a pivotable point in decisions.

SO are thoses three minor races still available in Dark Avatar ?

I've seen no topic about thoses races since a long time.

Cant even find them on wikipedia, nor in any game guide or manuels

What's up ????

AFAIK they can still occur in DA, though they're eclipsed by the mega event Pirates and the Jagged Knife.

Fundamentalists and Ileague are really cool events, they should happen more often.

Just a warning for those who want to see Pirates more often: Be careful what you wish for. If Pirates ever really get rolling without quick suppression, its kind of like having loose Dread Lords roaming around, except they don't invade planets AFAIK.

Actually I never seen the ILeague in fact.

What can I do to make this events occur ?
