Don't you hate it when everyone else is enjoying their long holiday while YOU have to be at work, even though the phone doesnt ring and there's nothing to do?
I do.
The town is empty, it looks like a ghost town. And we are a few miserable people that have to be in the office today, fooling around and waiting for the clock to hit 4 pm...
We're not even getting paid better because we're working when everyone else is off, since todayis not really considered a public holiday. The public holiday was yesteday (thursday), and it depends on the companies if they make it a long weekend or not. We are part of the dumb ones that believe we should work today. Even though it doesnt amend the productivity in any way. Mmmm, probably we're wasting energy that's all, not making any money, but wasting power. Should be considered a crime.
And on top of that, it's raining. You could guess it's ruining some campers weekend, but that makes you feel better for a only few seconds until you realize everyone is probably at the movies, or just chilling at home, which you are dying to do...
Yup envy is consuming me right now, and there is nothing else i can do but rant and whine and saying 'it aint fair' and pull a 5 mile face. And wait for the clock to hit 4pm...
