You Really Need to Fix These Forums

I've waited quite a while, but these forums really need to be fixed. In a day and age when many tiny websites have forums that work on a wide range of browsers (the forum templates are available for free) it is unacceptable for a professional company to have forums which are this bad.

Specifically, the forums more or less dont work on Firefox or Opera on two different operating systems (KDE linux and WinXP). Opera wont post posts correctly, and wont let me view threads that I have responded to even if I do fiddle around enough to get a response in. Firefox also doesnt post correctly, wont let me view threads that I have replied in, and creates 2-5 pages under the back button for every single thread (should be 1 page per thread obviously), making backing out of a thread strange. It also appears that all posters have the problem that their posts dont go up right away, leading to lots of self bumps. While I understand that there are reasons for this, pretty much every other forum out there allows for immediate viewing of posts.

There is nothing worse for the confidence of prospective customers or even current customers than having a website that looks nice, but turns out the be rather amateury at best. It reflects quite poorly on your company, and I would view it as a high priority.

You're completely wrong there. I find it irratating when people make demands about "needing" to do something. Quite frankly, you need tact. The forums could use an improvement yes, but to be honest I would much rather see that time go into the game development.

Oh, and I post exclusively in FF and Opera (only using FF if Opera 9 causes memory leaks) and I have had absolutely no issues posting my *checks* 1475 comments. So any real posting issues are your problem, as I don't have them, use the browsers that cause problems, running winxp (don't have much linux experience I'll admit, but this is a group of 30 odd employees making products PURELY for windows, who don't do anything for linux/mac etc). I know other people that have no problems either.

Self bumps are necessary not to get anything up, but "recent posts" is ONLY posts that have been commented in. The bump is to draw attention to it, not because it has difficulties appearing in the main forum.
