lowest internet security suite resource/memory usage

I am interested to know which internet security suite program, through experience, uses the least amount of resources/memory usage.
Currently I use Trend Micro 2006 Internet Security suite.If you could, post numbers from the task manager.

Mine - approx.....85,700k total.

Thx....

What features are you using? I don't use a suite. I use seperate apps for viii, firewall, and spyware. I would want to report apples to apples.

Also, it depends if you updates are a priority. My app may update faster (more often) than yours. The other thing is my seperate apps may use more resources at specific times, like when I am doing an update or a scan opposed to just sitting there waiting for action.

It includes the firewall, AV, antispyware. It updates everyday, sometimes twice.

I'm not talking about doing scans. Just after boot-up...total memory usage.

So what are your numbers and what are you using?

Whether or not you 'bother' is entirely up to you, but as to people 'not giving a sh**' that's a bit judgemental.  You may 'want' to know, but that doesn't necessarily follow that people will equally 'want' to sift through their processes and list them....just to appease your curiosity....

I have 62 processes listed as running....determining exactly which one does what and why so that an accurate indication is given would take more time than I feel warranted...

Not everyone flocks to new topics either .

Anyway, I run the following:

avgemc.exe = 6,900 K
avgupsvc.exe = 3,328 K
avgamsvc.exe = 7,180 K
avgcc.exe = 15,808 K
zlclient.exe = 5,732 K
-----------------------
Total = 38,948 K

I have no clue what half that avg stuff is... but it runs . My computer isn't as secure as I'd like .

I've seen people do more than that on here.

Knowing what's running and what exactly they are is important to me. It's not that hard to figure out....

OK...knock yourself out....6 of them are svchost.exe ...ranging from 5,500k to 42,700k.

Good luck on guessing what to which they relate...

There you go...add them up, and yes, I do know what the 'named' ones are...it's those svchost.exe's that will leave you guessing....from the point of view of 'Task Manager'...
