Logo's & Icons for download

from GalCiv2 Forums
I have created 59 icons/logos for GC2. I got tired of the stock ones, and the ones in the library on this site were few. I don't know how to put them in the library section, maybe an admin or moderator can add them.

This pack contains Icon's from Star Trek Series, Star Wars, Buckaroo Banzai, SG-1 series, 2001 A Space Odyssey, NASA, A few flags, superman, and random icons I threw in. Hope you enjoy.

Custom logos go into "My Documents / My Games / Galciv 2 / Logos"

2nd batch of logo's 20 more. in all 79. I even put in an australia flag for Pnakotus g'day mate.

added batman, Battlestar Galactica, buck rogers, australian flag, harley davidson, SW jedi, macross, punisher, quake, spawn, spiderman, thundercats, and Startrek logos.

i'm just curious. where do you guys draw the logos. i use MSpaint and can never get a transparent background. i tried a converter program to use printshop images and they have a transparent background, but it is not an easy to use drawing program. any help, thanks.

thanks. i downloaded a trial copy of photoshop. what an overwhelming product. i can't believe i have been doing personal graphics with mspaint. i like the simplicity of paint, but i think i will be buying photoshop elements, as i have been wanting a photo tool anyway. i have made a very basic logo and it looked fine in game.

I once checked out the Galactic Core after reading about it in a post, but can't remember the URL and can't find the post anymore. I was going to see if people have started using it more, but can't get there to find out.

I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction...

well i'm taking down the download. i've had well over 400 downloads of the icon/logo mod. and even put together another 20 more icons for a final release, but stardock doesn't want to put my mod in the library even after many emails to staff to review it and put it in the library.
