Running GC2 on Laptop?

hey guys,
I wanted to install GC2 on a laptop so I can fuel my addiction while I'm at my GF's place
She doesn't have any net connection, so is there any problem with burning the latest SDCentral, a full archive of the latest GC2 and register with my serial? Does GC2 require a net connection to register a digitally downloaded version of GC2?
