Can't find the game anywhere. Few questions before I digitally buy.

Ok so apparently West Lafayette, IN is not good enough to get this game and its driving me nuts .

Before I buy the D/L I was wondering if you guys could answer a few questions.

1. What happens if during the download my internet goes down? (Only 1 router for my entire apartment complex....)
2. How fast is the delievery of the retail CD's if i pay for the S&H?
3. How fast is the download? IE. how long did it take you guys?

Thanks guys, been dying to play but all 6 stores in my town do not have the game yet.

AFAIK, Stardock Central supports resuming of downloads...

You pay for the shipping speed that you desire.

140mb to download the absolute essential game files, ~1.4GB to get everything including movies / tutorials, etc. The downloads are split up into 4 sections.

Ive been a member of Stardock for many years and (since it inception) Total gaming.net and I have gotten everything digitally for YEARS. Occasionally a big new release may take an hour or so for the hundreds of megs, but ususally I get great thru-put and even when its at its worst its still reasonable.

Ya i preordered the disc version and it hasnt come yet!!! Its driving me crazy!!! All i can think about is this game. They said it should come somtime this week but cant wait!!! Also I thought when you preordered a game it came in the mail the day that the game came out. Oh well i geuss i just have to wait at least i know im not the only person waiting for this game. Also if anyone sees this and have the game and are playing it can you tell me how awsome it is.

SDC will restore your download from where you left off.

It took me about two weeks to get mine, But to be fair I'm on the other side of the world so I would say a week or so...Give or take.
3. How fast is the download? IE. how long did it take you guys?


Well, When I downloaded the final 5MB package it took me about 20 mins, But to be fair there were tons of other people trying to do the same thing, For best results I reccomend leaving it on to download while you say, go to work.

I'm in the exact same position. I wish that Stardock had given me a tracking number or something for my order. I have no idea if my order is in the back room of my post office or if it's been misdirected to Zimbabwe or something. Don't even know which service they sent it with.

I'm just complaining cause I REALLY want to play... *whine*

hey frogboy did you order this game. I thought you were one of the people that worked here. You mean no one has gotten the game yet? Ya it sucks waiting 2 years and whenits out and its so close we still cant play it. MAN all I can think about day and night is this game!!!!!!!!

Because he is the Main man. He was just commenting that it was funny he's been working on the game for 2 years and he doesn't even have a sleek new Collector's Edition Boxset. Then again he DOES have the "CEO -I are 1337-Edition" Man I wish I had THAT edition...
