Middle Mouse Button / Camera Panning

Can someone please help me with this little annoyance?

The middle mouse button pans the camera on the x and y axes nicely, but I can't seem to lock it in the new angle. The moment I release the button, the view snaps back to default. How can I rotate the camera so that it holds in place?

There is an option (I think in Interface) that says something like "Camera Snap back." Uncheck that box.

Yes, it is in the Options>Interface>third box down all the way left.

Unclick it and your trouble is over (that was driving me crazy, but luckily I found that box rather quickly).

I was wondering if there is another way to pan the camea besides the middle mouse button? My mouse only has two buttons and a scroll wheel.

Never mind, I just remapped my scroll wheel to be the middle mouse button.
