Req Add: Starbase Area of Effect on Map

Can you guys just add like a halo, or other marker, around a starbase to indicate its 'area of effect'.. it would be alot easier to see exactly how far out you can put your military ships without having to count squares the whole time.

Only if its not too hard.

If you click on a starbase...you see the AoE.

What I *would* like added is a way to see that AoE BEFORE you build. If there's a way, do tell. I'm having to save/reload when placing starbases sometimes to try to get them optimally placed.

Yes, I have the same problem of not being able to tell the area of effect before it's built. Could this be added?

The AoE of starbases is visible before building it.
When the constructor is selected, it should appear.
Though the color might not be visible enough.
I played only humans until now, I can see it.

Ancient thread. Constructors had no halo at the time of original posting, but they do now. If you don't see it, make sure you're patched up, and check your race's color and that your monitor brightness is high enough to see it.
