Ultimately the themes go into C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Winstep\Themes. How you get them there depends on what you've downloaded. If it's a file with the appendage .xtreme, all you need to do is double-click on the file. If it's a zip file with a .xtreme file in it, just extract that file anywhere you like and double-click on it. If it's a zip file with the theme folder in it, e.g. [ThemeName]Folder\LotsOfFiles, you would extract that entire folder into t

If you have a backup from when Water was installed you can restore it from there. The default was C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\Stardock\Dreams\Water Dream.Dream You can also of course use any background ("Ground Image") you like with Liquid. It's good to backup any dreams you're particularly fond of, there's no guarantee they'll always be out there.

I'll also mention that when making changes to the start menu, it seems like you may need to click on the start button and pop up the start menu a few times before the changes show, can't swear to that though.

Could be a Win10/Win11 thing, it's still working for me on 10. I also had a look at my default dream directory and I see that it installed with my DeskScapes v11.02, so I'm my usual color of somewhat confused. [e digicons]o_O[/e]

For awhile at least Desktop Collage was a Premium Dream sold directly through the WC site. If you bought it that way, you quite likely can still find it to be downloaded from your Stardock / My Account / Product Downloads page under the "WinCustomize" tab. I think the "Ice" shipped skin needs a little tweak in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

I had the "Ice" shipped skin loaded and realized I wasn't seeing the window caption text on one of my "vintage" [cough] programs that uses the UIS frames. To be sure I hadn't tinkered with the skin, I deleted it and installed it again from the wba included in the WindowBlinds "IncludedWBAs" folder. Deskscapes trivia: If you have created and saved any "Combined effects" (from the "Effects" screen) they are stored in C:\Users\[UserName]\Documents\Stardock\Dreams\Effects\[*.usereffect] files. Restoring the files to that directory seems to work as I would expect.

If you log off or shut down Windows while Deskscapes is running a dream or playlist, the dream or playlist will run again when you start back up. To avoid that, before logging of or shutting down you would need to either apply a standard wallpaper or use the Deskscapes Disable command to Disable it (Deskscapes Screen / "Settings" in lower left corner / Disable DeskScapes).
