To clarify the initial question. Personally, I find Litestep quite easy, that wasn't the question. I just wanted to know if many people were interested enough for me or anyone else for that matter, to go to the trouble of creating a theme. I havn't tried since the old '98 days and wasn't sure if XP posed any problems.

So, judging by the comments received, the concensus seems to be that Litestep causes many people problems and so do not use it. The 29 replies have been from only 8 people - very good comments but not a very wide range of users.............. I'll wait awhile and see what happens next. Many thanks for the interest.

Jafo - Surely Wincustomize is a 'home' but not many skinners upload Litestep themes. I know Wincustomize covers many aspects of skinning but from what I can see, most people seem satisfied with just adding items like 'Windowblinds','Icons', etc., to their normal operating system.

Screensavers are supplied with computers. Why would you want others unless you want to sit there for hours just watching them?

Does anyone still create Litestep themes and is it compatible with WindowsXP. I havn't tried since upgrading and I want to know if it's worth the effort. Comments greatly appreciated!

Final comments from me - Firstly, I am not bothered about negative comments. If I like my work I submit it so that other people can also use it. If anyone has any constructive comments I welcome them - good or bad! Incidentally, the wall in question was only made for the Litestep theme I uploaded - not as a stand-alone wall. OK- I was wrong to say the 'I like' or 'I don't like' but Wincustomize already rate uploads and that is good enough for me. Comments should be constructive and give the author hints on what they would prefer to see or how it could be improved. Also, as I said previously, before commenting - Please read the author's notes.

Do you realise that only one Litestep theme has been uploaded in the last four days. If this is usual then I must come to the conclusion that Litestep is not as popular now as it was the previous week. There obviously is a problem and the sooner this is addressed the better.
