I can't remember where in the forums frogboy said they were cooking something special for the single-player, about the review, it seems very prudent for them to consider the efforts in patching and recognizing demigod's potential.

Don't worry, demigods will be balanced if necessary, its just that its not the top priority right now, they are fixing network issues and then they will move on to other issues. [e digicons]:wulf:[/e]

I didn't have the chance to play the game yet, but there must be something wrong with the least played character on the pantheon, that applies also to the queen of thorns which is very close to sedna. Just my 2 cents [e digicons]:moo:[/e]

They really don't get the whole thing, Demigod is essentially a multiplayer game, that right now has connectivity problems that are known and are getting fixed. Its like saying team fortress 2 sucks for the lack of single-player, thats totally bullshit. The review is unfair, only one part of the game is not working, if you look at the whole thing youll see that demigod is unique. [e digicons][/e]

Well, i'm sure they will be fixing the network problems, they knew that would happen because there are huge amount of types of routers and they couldn't fix all the problems related to them. If you're having trouble, you should try the support forum, people in here are very friendly (unlike 90% of the people on the internet).

Demigod has both of those things, so I'm not too worried about a lot of people pirating it. In any case, I think that the vast majority of the time, the people who pirate games wouldn't have bought the game anyway if they couldn't have downloaded it for free,

I'm sticking with the digital version since if i order a boxed copy, i will end up paying 3x the price of the game because of the taxes.

You can try supreme commander demo to see if it run well on your machine. Its not official, but it seems that if you can run SC well, you can run demigod. http://www.supremecommander.com/

When i bought my copy of Fallout 3 there was a huge sticker on the top saying not to sell it before release date. BTW, thanks stardock, this kind of direct customer contact is something very rare to see these days.

You just need to download the full game once, you can backup your impulse games and burn them on a dvd. After that, all youll ever need to download is game updates (if you want, of course) and you're good to go.
