Problem Downloading Beta

Hi, i'm trying to install the beta on my other computer. I purchased the game before the beta cutoff and it works fine on my laptop, but when I try downloading it on my desktop it wont work. Is it because the beta isn't available anymore ? I did preorder before the cutoff.

Heres the logfile:

One thing to try before all else that I have come across is to change the server, the setting is in there for Chicago or California. Try the other one.

Had a similar problem a few days ago, so did quite a few folks actually. Just had to wait until Stardock got the gamma stuff unmixed with the beta stuff I believe. Still do not have multimedia on my desktop. Which is probably because it looks to me (version wise) that the multimedia being displayed for d/l is the gamma version.

Maybe you could copy it from the laptop to the desktop.

I'm now having a problem where it says error installing file, file not found. The file is explosion gfx  file I think, but it won't let me install gal civ 2 beta.
