what's with the multimedia downloads?

logged on to SDC and got a Multimedia dl that took about 2 seconds after which it showed the previous version available. I ignored this and when I checked later it showed the previous version installed.

I get it every time with Stardock and it says I don't have a valid product subscription or something.

I've had some weird things with Beta "upgrades" too. The last one was a multimedia upgrade in 3 seconds from some low version number all the way up to 1.0.039 - with no visible change. Fortunately I never had stability issues.

I think I'll delete everything related to GalCiv II before installing the final version, won't take the risk.
