in gc2 there will be more minor races than in gc?

as in the title i would wanna know if in gc2 there will be a lot more minor races than in gc and if the interaction with these will be improved.

There are definitely more, though I'm not sure that there are more in game at any one time, if that's what you mean.

Yes, there are.  On a gigantic galaxy, you can have 8 minor races that start at the beginning of the game, plus the possibility of pirates or other minor races cropping up from random events.

just a quick question i noticed that during the last release of the beta some of the minor races shared the same name, is this going to be changed by the time the game is released?

of course it is. and are you sure you just didnt look at a minor race that had two planets?
(although usually they have alot more. like 8)

I just ran into some race called the "Fundamentalists" so yeah. Not to mention the Dark Yor.
