Has GalCiv II been removed from Stardock Central?

Or is it just an issue of SC 2.21b (b).165?

As I experienced issues with the new download of GC2, I decided to uninstall and re-install GC2.

Issue is - I upgraded at the same time to the new version of Stardock Central, now to 2.21b (b).165, build 10 - and whoops, GC2 is not there anymore.

Any idea on how to sort it out?

Thx in advance!

Hi Markos2,

Unfortunately I was not able to reproduce this problem.  So we need to gather some more info.  Could you please send us the login.txt file that is saved in the folder where Stardock Central is installed (default is c:\program files\Stardock\SDCentral\)

Also, could you zip up  your your Data and Installed folders as well.  Please send them to me at pford@stardock.com and cc it to bharper@stardock.com.

I'm getting the same error as Nicasa but a different multimedia file

Extract: C:\DOCUME~1\user1\LOCALS~1\Temp\sdcentral\Mod_Multimedia\Event Music\DISC.MP3_ 0 (deleted file)

Showing GalCiv2 version 0.81a.007 installed and version 0.28.032 available for multimedia.

I've tried clearing the temp folder for the multimedia install and reinstalling but it hangs on the same file and installation fails.

I had the same errors and changed to the other server and this worked for me.

Seems there is a problem with the Chicago server, can you all confirm this is the one you are using?

No change, despite T-Man help I am still unable to find GC2 even on the California server.

Any suggestions?

Should I reinstall the previous version from the archive?

Sorry - I was out a couple of day.

T-Man and the Stardock team sorted out what happened.

I was simply hiding the GC2 icon in SD Central!

I finally reloaded and everything is fine. Almost fine. As usual, when fiddling too much with the Shipyard, I am (as usual) kicked out of the game. But that's another story. Really looking forward to get the final release.
