90.0 betas

Just out of curiosity, how many people are keeping their game at .90.xxx beta? I like a fool, upgraded it back to .81.xxx and while that was happening i checked out the .90. version to see a highly detailed menu, moving planets pictoral representation for galaxies tech tabs and what not.
What i'm realling trying to ask is...is there anyway to get .90.xxx back. I just don't see the reason why we would just be cut off at the beta. I'm sure that all pre-oders can experience it and it woulnd't have an effect on the gamma testers. I don't know, I just feel like the life line was cut all of the sudden and now i'm waiting for rescue which will take a month or so (februrary lauch date)
Please forgive my incoherent message, hopefully I got my point across

The main reason is spoilage.  That is, we want you to be able to enjoy the final game and the difference between beta and final is significant.

The second reason is to decrease the signal to noise ratio.  Most beta reports aren't very useful because they are incredibly vague "I got a CTD!", lack any sort of hardware or software info, etc.

That said, we are still adding people to the gamma testing as long as they can:

a) Make sure they are available on IRC quite a bit.

b) ARe technically proficient enough to self-debug some things.

c) Remember to make reports that include hardware and software info.

d) Know how to use Smart Exception and include debug.err

Well that is quite reasonable, I would offer my services but i'm not a big fan of mIRC. So i'll just wait for that rescue boat to arrive in a month or so

Keep up the good work everybody.
