Preorder question

I just pre-ordered. I decided beforehand not to get the beta, as I knew in the past when I beta-tested, I was often disappointed in the final product, I didn't want that to ruin this game. I'm expecting a Civ IV killer though. (which means my expectations are probably insane, since civ IV is good) At the very least, I want something that doesn't clog my CD drive like that game does.

My question is this however: when the game is ready- will you be able to download it from Stardock Central? I'm active duty right now, and will be in one of several possible addresses (thankfully all in the States), so I'd want to DL it.

IF this is a stupid newb question, my apologies, I didn't see it in a FAQ anywhere.

Yes. You just need to have a GC2 serial Id.

if we ordered the CD how does that go with an eletronic DL. will we not be able to download it because we ordered the cd?im not gonna clog up the forums with a new question so this seems like a good place.

Even if you ordered the CD, the serial number provided allows you to still download the game at any time (as well as the updates). Thus you don't have to worry about breaking the CD and losing the game.
