getting rid of some ships

from GalCiv2 Forums
theres no way in the current beta to delete ships you've made in a custom race when u start a new game. theres alot of ships left over from the last ones even one i experimeted with then deleted right away. i was wondering what was the exact subfolder was to find delete user made ships under a custom race in galciv folder.

Look into: My documents -> My games -> Galciv2 -> ships

you can delete the files but the ship designs remain

On the shipyard there is an 'obsolete' button and a 'delete' button. The obsolete button removes a design from your current game, the delete button permanently erases the design.

Delete does not appear to permanently erase designs. At least, I always delete obsolete ship designs, and I have ships coming back from old games all the time.

ugleb i was talking about in the sub folders of the galciv folder. they just came back when you do it in the game and thank you peace i had been looking in wrong galciv folder. i had been looking in the program files > stardock > ect...

Interesting, they seem to stay gone when I do it.
