That's actually what we were discussing when this quote came up. There's TVGuide.com giving out the listings for your area for free, and my new cable box has a screen where you can browse through the listings, select the show you want, and go right to that channel. So obviously the old reliable TV Guide needs to change formats or wither away. But she doesn't currently have a working computer or anything fancyer than a coaxial cable going from the wall to her TV. Her problem with the new TV Guide is that it isn't as complete as it used to be. Apparently there are huge chunks of time just labeled "various programming," and no daytime listings for Sunday at all. (I haven't actually seen it since it changed formats.) If it's lacking the vital information, does it matter how easy it is to read the other junk?
