Council Forum

A few days ago a link to the Council Forum magically appeared on the left hand side of my screen, obviously connected to this new Diplomat forum rank thing.

Just wondering what its going to be used for and if I'm supposed to be able to post on it, as I currently can't post on existing threads or start new ones.

The GC1 site had a similar forum "Galactic Council". It was only visible if you were of a certain access level or higher, Veteran on the GC1 site. The idea was that the restricted forum would be used to post beta comments where both the Dev Team and the people chasing the bugs didn't have to dig through the main forum.

Less chance of something being lost due to the sheer volume of posts on the main forum.

It'll probably be "activated" closer to the release of Beta 4.

Same here. I'm honored to be a Diplomat, but what privileges does that grant?

Proud Canadian: "I have 750,000 frequent flyer miles. I should be a platinum member, dammit!"

It's a "thank you" from Stardock for providing valuable feedback. So far the only announced benefit, with respect to GC2, is access to the private beta releases after beta 4. I assume the Galactic Council forum will work the same way as the GC1 forum did.
