Seeing as how I'm practically champing at the bit for this game, would it be possible to get a quick update on the status of it (as well as, perhaps, when the beta will start, etc) from the developers?

I'm pretty sure they're putting all their effort right now into Galciv AP beta, that's one of the reasons Brad hasn't been as visible recently.
