Sorry for the Newbiest of Newb Questions....but....

How EXACTLY do I get the Beta....pre-paid, got my Stardock Central account....but 'fraid I need to be walked through it like a baby.

There's no "Gal Civ -II" page or listing in "Games" at Stardock Central.....not sure how to proceed???

Download "Stardock Central" from the Stardock site. It is a software delivery system that will download the game and install it for you. You just need to input your serial number into SDC and it will do the rest for you.

Open Stardock Central. Go to the Tools menu and select Register Products. Select the Games section in the Product Registration screen, choose Galactic Civilizations II from the drop down list of programs, and enter your serial number and email address. Hit OK to register. Back in the main download screen you should find GalCiv II listed as an available download in the Games section.

You will also have to set Stardock Central to show pre-release software. To do this go to the Tools menu item in Stardock Central -> Settings. Once there select "General" under the "Settings" section on the right side of the screen. Then make sure there is a check mark in the first item of the "Applications" section: "Show pre-release (alpha / beta) versions. Then hit the "Okay" button.

After that you may have to refresh the view in Stardock Central. To do this go back to the Tools menu item and select the first choice "Check for application updates".

That should do it.
