S'ok, da I mean. Anyway I guess I'll have to update to 1.13 (even though the mods might be broken) and see what happens. I wish I'd kept a copy of 1.11 around (won't let that happen again). Oh well.

Woo Hoo! The Leaf is back!

Any way, played out the current game and got smoked. So I decided to go back and start again from my first save game. I think I didn't start the Mil build up soon enough the fist time around. Also I'm not very high in the Diplo department which makes getting anything from the AI a little difficult. I am currently having significant dificulty keeping the AI off my back, I hope that the mil build up I have going will help in that. We'll see how it goes.

Oh... And Happy New Year to all the CFS overlords.

Well.. Got down to the Torians and me after the latest restart. They are still gonna kit my sorry monkey butt all over the map.

Well.. I give up on this one. I'll go back to crip for a game and gather my strength for another try. (:(

I can't speak for you of course, but my style of play does NOT lend itself to Massochistic games. I have won at that level several times, but I have to alter the way I play so much, I do not enjoy playing like that.

I prefer to be non aggressive early in the game, and it's almost impossible at that level. That's been my complaint about the AI from the very start. It's certainly an American view of the world. If you don't have a strong military, they all just attack you even if you are trading with them, giving them technology, not that close to them (supposedly fixed now), it's just completely silly in my opinion.

So basically, I only play Massochistic from time to time to get some points. I can win the game at that level, but it's not fun to do so. I have also said it many times before, forcing me to play GalCiv as a military game is a bad idea. As a military game, GalCiv is mediocre. It's like taking a game engine and forcing you to ignore it's best features, and forcing you to play with it's weakest.

Anwyay, this is of course, just my opinion. I seem to be in the minority anyway.
