Javier,

Are you behind a firewall?
When the DGM does manage to load be sure to goto Options and turn on the 'Show Betas' option.
Also, try running loader.exe with the /d parameter. When you receive a crash please send me the debug.err file that is located in the drengin.net directory and give me an explanation of the error.

Pat,

I put on 66b yesterday and got a message at the end of the install that MCPCLIENT had a problem. Then this morning when I IPLed my PC I got another similar message. So SE is still not working for me.

I may have some unexpected stuff left over from the old SE. I would like to know what the command is that lets me view what is registered to the OS and how to identify and delete any of the registrations from the old SEs that may still be there. I plan to use unwise before doing this and then reinstalling SE after.

Thanks,
Jack

Unfortunately SE is not part of my project. So I have to admit when it comes to Smart Exception I really don't know anything.

Please drop an email to Kris at kwilas@stardock.com for SmartException/MCP support.

If this patch is required to work on XP then it really should be posted more prominently than in the forums.

While playing around with one of the older versions I found if I uninstalled / rebooted then installed I would nolonger get the white screen / crash. Maybe that helps?

Most of us only run Windows XP. I'm not aware of any problems tht are on Windows XP.
