This is an email I got today. Anyone have an aswer for it. I can't think of what it is.

A RIDDLE THAT'LL KILL YOUR BRAIN!

This is going to make you so MAD! There are three words in the English
language that end in "gry". ONE is angry and the other is hungry. EveryONE
knows what the third ONE means and what it stands for. EveryONE uses them
everyday, and if you listened very carefully, I've given you the third
word. What is it? _______gry?

The question has nothing to do with angry, hungry, or any of the many other obscure words that end in 'gry'.

It is a simple question asking you what the third word in the sentence is.

The important phrase is: I've given you the third word. What is it? And the third word, in the sentence: There are three words in the English
language that end in "gry". Is three.

You shouldn't feel stupid. The way it was sent to you it wasn't worded correctly rendering it impossible to solve. Note the difference in the way it was worded as sent to you and the way it's worded in my reply. Makes a difference.

There are three words in THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE.

The third word is language.
