No offense, but if your going to correct spelling, you should use correct spelling yourself ;p .

I may be missing something here, but what was mispelled in zecryan's note? He was correcting "walk-throug" to "walk-through" - which is correct.

I understand that I may have not spelled correctely, but the note was to zecryan, not to me. He did no use the word spelled or any of its forms.

If we're getting picky, "mispelled" is spelled "misspelled." ;)

Even so, it shouldn't be two words, which was the point Mr. Nand was trying to make.

Well, Mr Nand's point was somewhat diluted when he failed to realize his grammatical mistake, using "your" when he should have used "you're." ;)

Hey, we can just go on and on with this... ;)

OK, no problem...

One could be very picky indeed, almost every message in this thread contains some errors in spelling or grammer (this one included). Nobody seems to have noticed "lastest" which to the best of my knowledge does not exist. And that proper nouns, new paragraphs etc. should start with capitals.

On "spelled", that is the American spelling, the International/British spelling is "spelt" not "spelled" although that is becoming acceptable, but to my ears it sounds wrong.

And, of course, every paragraph should be indented... and you shouldn't begin a sentence with "and." ;)

Oh come on people! This is crazy. Let's talk about something interesting, like Quantum Foam or something.

You can talk about that in the "Quantum Foam" forum. ;)

Also on the front page in the "Galactic Civilizations" frame is the sentence:
[GalCiv: Altarian Propehcy is coming!]

Well I just think it is un professional for a company to have uncorrect grammer on the front page of their website.

It all depends on how you're using it. For example, it would be incorrect to say, "We are in lastest place." However, it is perfectly okay to say, "That lastest was the hardest exam I've ever taken." LOL

I can sympathize, but you should try reading the local paper where I live. Every issue has misspellings in it. What's really a hoot is the misspelled headlines!

In all honesty, the first seven or eight posts in this thread were brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. I think they qualify, truly, as a comedy of errors.

Actually, this is also wrong. The word you need here is 'latest.'

I don't follow you.

It is "lastest", as in last test. :notsure:

Your humour was just lost on him. It was a clever pun though.
