Are you sure? There are some mods out there that give a bonus to prestige - or does this only refer to the influence given by a particular star system rather than your overall influence?

Prestige_Bonus increases the influence of that star system, AbilityType 9 increases your civilization's influence ability. I believe Prestige_Bonus actually shows up as "Star Influence" on the planet details screen. To see the ability bounus you have to look at your stats before and after building the Achievment/Wonder/Trade Good.
