sine installing Ob 1.6.03 i have not been able to get my taskbar icons to shot Ie Av Firewall http server Trillian no matter what i do i can not get them to show

This is probably the best place to ask your question.  These forums don't get much traffic in the way of Object Desktop programmers, so the newsgroup (or event better, #stardock on IRC)  would be a better location to ask OD related questions.

On Windows 2000

1.) Create a shortcut to C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME$\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch
2.) Go to your desktop and drag the new shortcut folder to the side of your screen.
3.) Boom, instant Quicklaunch Bar.

I don't know/remember if Win98 has this ability or not, but if it does the Quicklaunch folder is under c:\windows\profiles, if you have profile turned on.
