Metaverse game count oddities?

My metaverse shows I've played 13 games since the beginning but is only counting 8 of them- as it ahs been seemingly forever. Anyone know anything about this?

my best guess at this time is that the early scores you posted have 'bled' away to zero. Dont forget that your scores are reduced at the end of each month and some of those scores have been there for a while.

Hm. Scores reduce after each month? Where was I when this got posted? Is there a thread on that? I'm really curious now.

Somewhere I remember reading that your scores reduce by 5% per month. There was a link to some program that Theoden wrote for calculating your Metaverse score. Don't remember where I saw it.

They do reduce, but that doesn't explain dearmad's total. Something's quite wrong. Going by the formula where you add up your total points, and divide by the square root of games played, 5151 is far too low. Even if you only count the last TWO games, and still divide by the square root of 12, I get 7289 points.

Score calculator at http://www.galciv.org/metaverse1.xls - but it doesn't seem to give the right values either - your displayed scores are too high....

Is this right now? That's what I'm seeing. Maybe it was taking the re-calc a while to finish.
