Stardock is the worst i have ever delt with

I for one have been using stardocck products for at least 12months and am extreamly happy with ALL of Stardock's Products and their support. They are available both online through IRC chat,Support through email, and through forums such as this, and also newsgroups. I have and do do my homework as you put it. They go out of their way to make usable and playable software. I'm, sorry to hear that they arn't up to YOUR expectations.

Listen, Droid, we all get it. You have had problems with Stardock. Personally I've had no problems and found the community very responsive. I'm sorry you didn't but you can stop screaming about it on the boards, it's not going to solve your problems. The people at Stardock aren't even at work this time of night.

edit: and you have not once in any of your meaningless, ranting posts actually said what your problem is other than you cant submit scores to the metaverse. Does it say invalid user name? Whats going on exactly? Its hard to help anyone who wont give any information on the problem other than crying.

Wow. I and my brother have dealt with Stardock products since the original GalCiv for OS/2. I have never ever found the support lacking. In all my years of programming, sysadmining, IT support, etc., I have dealt with hundreds of hardware and software companies. only had a handful of times where I have actually had direct communication with the developers and/or engineers. In two of those cases I was beta testing software so it was to be expected. Stardock is one of the other few, and is the ONLY gaming developer to ever have done so.

This puts them right at the top of my 'to do business with again' list.

These are people who have used Stardock and their products for a while; of course they are going to defend them.

Judging by the topic of this post you have never dealt with a company called ntl here in Blighty. Their customer service is so bad they've even got a website dedicated to it.

This is my first contact with Stardock and so far they've been very satisfactory.

Is there any way to close this tread and don't allow people like this droid to post such as offensive comments here, there are kids who come and watch this tread you know and it is very improper the use of profanities, I think that the owner of this forum should ban players who use such expletives from here forever.

Thank you, frustration I can understand I get many times frustrated when the game does weird things, but that doesnot and I repeat doesnot entitled anyone to come to this board and use and abuse the privilege to post here. So I think that Stardock should write some kind of policy about this, forgive me if you already has done this. But I believe that these situations can be avoided by reiterating the postion of the owner of this board about the use of profanities. Zero tolerance must be the policy, one strike and you are out. We the older players in this board have the moral obligation to keep the purity of the game intact by taking actions against those individuals who abuse of the privilege of posting here. So I think that Stardock must take some steps to avoid such a hideous incidents from happening again by establishing some kind of moderators to whom those who are concerned about the materials or the language use can be report to.

... frustration, yeah ... well, I did not manage to download the update, finally I had tried too often and my account got blocked ("you exeeded ... Number of downloads etc"). I was frustrated, too. then I sent one (!) e-mail, got an answer two days later and my problem was solved!
Now that is support. And don't forget frogboys advice and insightful threads on this very board. Thanx stardock!

Yes, but some other people choose to come here and blast away their frustration by using profane language that is improper and irrevelant for this kind of website. Again I repeat no profanities should be tolerated. If the game dissapoints you try to get a break and get your mind clear sometimes the answer for our problems it is looking at us square in the face but we cannot see it.
