Die Humans! . . . ?

Couldn't help but notice a few funny and quirky additions in the new 1.10 GC. The strangest one was the 'Die Humans!' ship/tech which came up in the Diplomacy screen. Does it actually have any significants? Hehe . . . I traded for it x 5 for 400 bc each (out of curiosity) . . .

Well, actually die humans ships are in 1.05 too. They come when additional ships that added while assasination happens. On the map, it says corvette but on diplomatic option, it says die hummans ship.

The "Die Humans" Ships are there due to an assasination that the humans were blamed for.. the race's leader that has been assisinated's replacement has swarn vengence for his death.. thats why the ships are Named "Die Humans" i've had it many many times in the beta's they (from memory) are corvetts .. in my last game i ended up fighting off about 10 of them /sector on a large map.

I to thought it was funny till i say how meny of them there were... LOL However my overlords and excalabers (only 6 of them) made short work of them (also they wasted their time and lives attacking my "Fully Operational" Terror Stars (16 of them all up)

BTW i believe that the "Die Humans" is the name of the ship which you can change eg: USS Enterprise..

You can also change the names of enemy ships and starbases, easy if you want to get a specific one and don't like going through their list, just rename it to 'a' and it'll be the first one :)

Yup this is pretty old stuff. Although it does seem that they've tweaked the way the "Die Humans" ships appear--in my last game, Kona got assassinated and suddenly the Drengins had 3-5 corvettes in EVERY sector on the entire huge map :P

Of course, this wasn't a problem since it happened just after my Excalibur fleet started rolling off the assembly line :D

wow, i thought it was a coincidence: but i think i saw the drengin try and sneak a few corvettes into my sectors -before- the drengin vip assassinated event.
