WB 4.4 Shellstyle

Being used?

I am stoked with the ability of WB 4.4 to take advantadge of the new shellstyle and it is part of the reason why I upgraded from WB 3.x to it. The thing is, I am hardly seeing any skins that take advantadge of this feature. So far I have only counted 2, being Longhorn 4051 and Blue Lagoon. I like both themes, but I like to swap themes on a bi-weekly basis. I really would like to know if there are other quality themes that take advantadge of this feature. Perhaps I am not searching correctly, or maybe it would be a good idea to include a combo box that you could check to include as search criteria when browsing for skins.

Any input would be awesome

Don't forget Danillo's:

Aeon ported by Huckleberry Hounddog is another one. I used that recently and thought it was a nicely done port. Froboy's port of Stefanka's killer Inspirat skin has them as well.

Longhorn Alternative 1.5 (both light and dark versions) both also have the alternative shellstyle.

I agree though, being able to filter this would be a great option.

Ah yes, excellent one. I knew there were some I was forgetting. Thanks for the reminder.

I tell you what, it's just a shame that sacrifices have to be made to have a decent setup on your machine. I hate the explorer process, so I use LiteStep. It's so much faster, but...no shellstyles. I switched back to explorer to check out the Longhorn Alternative dark wb skin and it's really amazing. Wish LS had a way of showing that stuff

So bizarre, the shell styles are working in LS now. Icon Packager icons still aren't, but maybe, since I've written about it here, they will now.

Thanks for the heads up on the other skins. I was able to find NeoOS NeoShell on my own but had no idea about the other ones. I have given them a download and will be checking them out very soon. I love the way the new shell style is because of the extra real estate it gives the explorer windows. I wish more people would incorporate it. I am a huge fan of compact start menus and the new shellstyle. They are just so sexy.
