Here are the Early July Scores. Yeah, the deadline for submissions hasn't passed, but I doubt anyone else was going to try it anyway. If anyone is still playing, no problem: I'll just update the scores as you send your game to me.

Michael, I need clarification on one of the rules for the current game. The rules state:

* You may not trade or gift ANY of your planets to alien races! Once you own a planet, you can’t get rid of it unless it is taken from you via military conquest or a cultural “flip.”

My question is are you allowed to disband a planet so that it can be recolonized?

I won't do this unless you say it is OK.

Sure, if you need some events to juice your alignment that is okay.

I should've been more clear. The idea behind that rule was just to prevent people from keeping the other races in the game by giving them planets.

I finished my game before I read your reply so I didn't do any disbanding.

I just emailed you my save game. I won in Dec 2197 with only the Caranoids being eliminated.

This game was definately more challenging than the last.

My apologies to the GOTM faithful. As I hinted earlier, I'm trying to get myself over 100k and so have delayed my participation in GOTM.
