Use Sunbird to create a better iCal experience!

Sunbird, a stand alone calendar based on mozilla's XUL user interface technology is Apple's iCal for the rest of us.
Apple's OSX has a wonderful calendar application called iCal that many Windows (Mac replicants) would like to have. However the best that's been made so far are iCal docklets for dock programs like Object Dock. But these docklets only feature an updating icon calendar, the actual calendar has been void of an appearance.
But now, Sunbird fills that void!

And because it's built on Mozilla's XUL technology, themes are sure to follow! This posses very well for anyone wanting to Macify their Windows.

Using one of the iCal docklets available, you can link Sunbird to it using the docklets internal shortcut, then viola! A far more realistic iCal experience. Enjoy!

I find iCal on the Mac is much easier to use....
Sunbird gets klunky, just like a windows application.....

maybe someone will come up with a theme that way improves the user interface over the stock one.....
You can have flashy graphics, but if the interface sucks, nobody's gonna use it...

I like that you can have your calendar data hosted on the Net and therefore have access to your appointments anywhere. Great feature.
On Windows, Sunbird obviously isn't trying to compete againt iCal, but against Outlook. Been using Outlook forever, but I'm going to try using the combo Thunderbird/Sunbird for a while and see how my experience compares.

I've been using Sunbird since I found out about it. Great app, has lots of promise.
