It seems that the month == average approval .... both 6...???
But Senate: -> 78%
I have also reported the same issue. I thought frogs took care of bugs....
The Senate screen is the accurate one. That popup is putting the month count into the approval slot, which is why the two of them match at 6.
It is only the text in that one message. Your actual approval is the 78% the Senate is showing, and the election resolves against that, so there is nothing on your end to fix or work around.
Posting both screenshots together is what makes it unambiguous rather than a guess, so thanks for that.
