Subject: Option to fully disable right-click Fence creation gesture

Hello,

I'm using Fences (licensed/original version) and have an issue with the right-click-and-drag gesture used to create a new Fence on the desktop. Even small, unintentional mouse movement while right-clicking (e.g. to open the context menu) sometimes triggers Fence creation, which is disruptive.

In Settings → General, I see the dropdown with three options: "Left and Right click", "Left click only", and "Right click only" for creating a Fence. However, there doesn't seem to be an option to disable this gesture entirely for both buttons.

Could you please add a checkbox to fully disable the Fence creation gesture (for both left and right mouse buttons)? Alternatively, is it possible to increase the drag threshold/sensitivity so accidental small movements don't trigger it?

Thank you for your help.

One more thing to add: honestly, this click-and-drag gesture isn't needed at all — users almost never intentionally create a Fence this way, and when they do need to create one, it can easily be done through the menu instead. The gesture mostly causes accidental triggers rather than being used on purpose, and it's quite frustrating.

Hello,

I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue. Personally, I tend to use the right‑click and drag option most of the time when creating a new Fence.

That said, I’ve shared your request with the Stardock Support Team so they can review it and provide further recommendations. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We truly appreciate your feedback, and thank you for bringing this to our attention.
