Hi guys .. i new hier and have a question about bootskin !!!

hi guys ... i have installed bootskin and its works fine but i want to make a own bootskin .. could you tell me what programs i need to make the image for bootskin ??????

I'm always impressed when people come up with awesome skins using only MS Paint. I can't, for the life of me, understand how they can use such a basically infantile program to make quality images. Oh well.

To help a little further Darkcoregabber, you might look at getting PaintShop Pro (http://www.jasc.com/products/paintshoppro/? ), Adobe PhotoShop (http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/ ), Macromedia Fireworks (http://www.macromedia.com/software/fireworks/?promoid=home_prod_fw_082403 ), or even The Gimp (http://www.gimp.org/win32/ ).
In addition to that you can also use SkinStudio to prepare images as they can only be used in bootskins if they're 16 colour 4bit images. Which as far as I've seen, only PaintShop Pro does with any sort of competence.

so far so good .....but i have another prob now ... i created a bootskin image (backg. and pro.) than i took a inn from a other image and created my own ... i did all the steps which are written @ www.martin.joeuser.com .. but when i open bootskin it dosen't show me my own maked one .... what i did wrong ???
