Re-up discount

All I'm offered is the full re-sub price. I'm sure I was offered a deep discount very recently

from Stardock Forums

I'm sure that I saw a deeply discounted resubscription price for object desktop recently.. I can't seem to find it anymore and I don't want to pay the full price again (even though its worth it) If there is a discount price available to me.

It's probably because I'm used to some other forums but I must admit something about this forum confounds me. anyway, I hope someone can get back to me with some type of answer and I look forward to that. 

 

The people and staff here have always been the very best to me.

At the bottom of that page it mention.

If I were to purchase an OD subscription at the upgrade price of (say) $29.99, what would it cost me to renew my subscription after one year? 

It renews at the price it was sold. Thus, if you renewed at $29.99, it would stay that way. 

So, I believe the price will always be the price you paid for the first time you purchased the OD subscription.

OD contains "grandfathered" pricing. People who have been subscribing for 20 plus years probably are getting a good deal.

I am all for grandfathered pricing myself, it is perfect protection from price hikes for loyal customers.

 Usually the make-up then is passed to new users. Business models almost hardly ever include anything about loosing money, :)  and terms like "customer service" and "retention" are sadly lowered to descriptors for future revenue streams.
