I’m playing around with how to add squads to a frigate that doesn’t natively have them; for bug testing I’m adding them to the Tech Scout Frigate. I am at the point where it can build squads, but I have the following problem:
When a squad first spawns, it spawns far away from the gravity well; sufficiently far that it is basically unable to return. However, when the ship takes a phase jump, the squad then exits the ship as a normal squad would.
I haven’t been able to find anything that governs initial spawn locations; I tried giving it the Carrier ShipTypeClass, but that had no effect. Does anyone know what might be going on?
