Can't find free multiplayer client.

The free client has been removed from Steam. Anyone who already downloaded it should still have the free MP client. We are looking into a solution which lets people invite their friends to play still.

Do you have an ETA for when the free multiplayer will be back?

I bought the game because I read on the official website that I would be able to set up a free multiplayer client for my family members, but now that option is gone, just like that, without even an explanation? Very disappointing

Sorry for the delay folks. We will have the new solution up very soon now as it is currently undergoing testing. It will enable anyone to sign up and get the free client to play with other people on Steam at no cost.

I have the base game and I got a key for a friend (I was willing to play with 4 people, but apparently they didn't get in, in time...)

From what I can understand, the free key he got (Multiplayer base game?), has steam cards. I imagine the system was flooded due to people willing to get free cards and selling them.

Maybe remove card drops from the free/multiplayer game? That will probably make it uninteresting for people to spam the system.

What’s the status on this? I own one copy, and I’d like to play multiplayer with another person; at this point does that person have to have a full copy of his own?

If you own the game already go to the launcher and click on the free MP client popup. However, currently it can only be redeemed once per email due to needing to protect against attacks.

Does "once per email" mean once per purchased copy? If I have a group that wants to play multiplayer does that mean we need N/2 full priced copies?

You should get something like that. I had a link there for it when I first bought the game, but its since disappeared. Is every purchaser only allotted one code?

I get this games several weeks ago on Epic, and it's amazing.

Now, I'm trying to get my friends onboard, so we play couples of multiplayers games together.

Is there still a way to get the free multi-player client?

I'm sad to heard you got targeted by hostile groups, and you had to restrict access to the free multiplayer client.

I'll try to convince my friend to buy the game on sale.
